Some of these impulses are rooted in conditioning—automatic responses shaped by upbringing, culture, and societal ‘education.’ Yet, at times, we sense impulses that arise from a deeper place, driven by instinct or an unexplainable, visceral gut feeling.
This subtler layer of impulses, thoughts, and ideas originates from a more vulnerable voice. This voice can often be difficult to hear. It may not align with the expectations of the world around us—those of our friends, social circles, or even our families. Because it doesn’t seamlessly fit the external noise or the common narrative, we might find ourselves disregarding it, thinking, Not you, not now.
Yet, it is this unique voice that embodies the individuality rooted in our essence and very existence. By recognising how external influences have shaped us—and understanding how they may have stifled our authentic selves—we create space for our true nature to emerge.
This exploration is not an attempt to create separation between ourselves and others. On the contrary, from this place of self-awareness, we can engage with others more freely and genuinely. We are, after all, interconnected, and the essence of human connection lies in unity. To offer genuine and effective support, however, we must first understand who we truly are.
My warmest wishes,
